MARTIAL WANTS OUT

Anthony Martial’s agent sensationally revealed that his agent wants to leave Manchester United after growing disillusioned with life under Mourinho. Philippe Lamboley, who represents the Frenchman said,” After thinking about all the possibilities and settings, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United. There are many parameters, for now, it’s premature to talk about it [the reasons for his decision]. Anthony will speak later to discuss all of this.” The agent also confirmed that the club wants to extend Martial’s stay at United and even negotiated over a contract but nothing was agreed upon till date. However, Lamboley had also confirmed in January last year that Martial was on his way to Seville but no move materialized.

FRED MAKES INJURY COMEBACK

Impending United signing Fred made his comeback from an ankle knock as he was put through the paces in training by Tite for Brazil. Fred picked up the knock when he was brought down by Casemiro in training last week and was in visible discomfort. But now, he is back and ready to roll ahead of the World Cup.

Manchester United know who they will face this season in the Premier League after the fixtures were released earlier today. United begin their season with the visit of Leicester City to Old Trafford on opening day. United then face Spurs in matchday 3. United face Manchester City in November and March and Liverpool during the busy December and then again in February.

UNITED “OFFERED” VERATTI

Manchester United have reportedly “offered” the services of Marco Veratti by none other than the notorious Mino Raiola. Reports indicate that a meeting between Veratti and incoming PSG boss Thomas Tuchel didn’t go well and United were sounded out by Raiola for the services of the 25-year-old Italian midfielder. But the authenticity of this news is under the scanner given the fact that the same Mino Raiola offered Paul Pogba to Manchester City earlier this year and that news was promptly put down by the player.

RASHFORD INJURY CONCERNS ALLAYED

Marcus Rashford who picked up a knock for England in their final training session before jetting to Russia allayed concerns about his availability for the World Cup with a message on social media. Rashford said that it was only a ‘slight niggle’ and there was nothing to worry about. The niggle kept out Rashford from England’s first training at their Russia base but he is expected to be back in time for their opener.
