Man United Round-Up: English winger on West Ham United radar, French midfielder situation, Hunt for Ligue 1 midfielder

West Ham United keeping close tabs with Man United forward

Man United are said to have reaffirmed their price tag for Jesse Lingard amid another enquiry. England international is attracting interest from West Ham United this transfer window after his fantastic loan spell with the Irons last term.

Lingard scored nine and assisted five in the second half of the season for the Hammers, and West Ham United are desperate to add the attacker permanently.

It didn’t look as though the Irons would get their wish, but the move may now be possible due to the likelihood Jesse will not make it into the Norwegian manager’s initial plans.

And buoyed by new opportunities, the Hammers are said to have made a new enquiry for the 28-year-old forward.

But there has been no reduction in the Red Devils’ asking price, with the report claiming the Irons have been told they will need to stump up £30m to make the transfer happen.

West Ham United have only six days to meet the Red Devils’ asking price ahead of the transfer deadline.

PSG keep a close eye on Man United midfielder

PSG are said to be considering a late bid for Man United star Paul Pogba. France international is yet to commit his future to the Red Devils despite Man United placing contract proposals on the table ahead of the footballer’s current contract expiring next summer.

Paul has been strongly linked with a move to the French club this transfer window, but with no decision made on his future, the midfielder has impressed for the Red Devils, assisting four goals in his first game of the PL campaign.

Though, a transfer is not completely off the cards as the Parisians could yet make a bid for Paul ahead of the transfer deadline, which is in only six days.

But according to the report, an offer is not likely unless Kylian Mbappe ends up leaving. Los Blancos are attempting to sign the French superstar, submitting an offer for the attacker on Tuesday night, though they have not struck a deal yet.

Man United closely monitoring 18-year-old Ligue 1 midfielder

Man United reportedly stay interested in a possible transfer deal for Stade Rennais youngster Eduardo Camavinga. The 18-year-old midfielder is considered one of Europe’s most talented youngsters and makes sense as an attractive target for top teams like Man United.

There is a ‘theory’ that Man United would test the French club’s resolve for Eduardo if they were able to bring in money by selling Jesse Lingard.

The report explains that Jesse is valued at nearly £30m by United after his successful loan spell at West Ham United in the second half of the last campaign, with the Irons keen to sign the Englishman permanently, according to Teamtalk.
