Man United Round-Up: Danish striker on the radar, Ivorian attacker loan move, Shock move for French striker

Man United interested in signing Danish centre-forward

Man United are among the teams monitoring the progress of Danish striker Wahid Faghir, compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Anthony Martial, meanwhile, has been linked with a move away from the Theatre of Dreams.

It could possibly open up a chance for a teenager like Wahid to become a possible first-team option for the Norwegian manager. However, it stays unlikely that the Red Devils would want to splash the cash for Faghir just yet.

The Danish striker still requires more experience at the highest level of football, so it won’t be surprising to see Man United wait for at least another campaign before making a move for the 18-year-old centre-forward, who is likely to stay at Vejle this transfer window.

African forward to leave Man United on loan

Man United are now expected to send winger Amad Diallo out on loan before the summer transfer window closes. Diallo is lined up to leave temporarily, only eight months after the attacker officially arrived at Old Trafford.

Red Devils pre-agreed the transfer of Amad last summer for an initial fee of €25m in a deal worth up to €40m.

Despite the severe promise surrounding Diallo when the winger officially arrived in Man United in winter, the Norwegian manager just handed the prospect eight games, with just two being starts.

Diallo did at least have the opportunity to keep himself busy over the summer, as the Ivorian forward featured for the national team at the Olympics, registering an assist in his four games.

Man United planning shock move for La Liga centre-forward

Man United are interested in Barcelona centre-forward Antoine Griezmann and will make a move for the attacker soon, according to reports.

The Blaugrana must reduce their wage bill, and as one of the highest earners, La Liga giants are prepared to let France international leave.

Griezmann is being chased by the Red Devils, who plan to make a low offer given the knowledge of the Catalan club’s need to sell. The 30-year-old striker is reportedly paid a gross salary of £32m a year, and getting that off the wage bill would greatly benefit the Spanish club.

The French centre-forward is believed to be keen on an exit and has asked his agent to try and force a departure from the Catalan club.
