Alexis Sanchez has been linked with several clubs this summer as his United chapter seemingly to comes to a close.

It has been a tough go for the Chile international since his arrival in January 2018. He has scored five times in 39 games for Manchester United and all signs point towards an exit from the Theatre of Dreams for the 30-year-old.

Maybe it is true, maybe it is time for him to leave the club and find a new home or a new League. Inter are currently interested in him with an offer on the table but United seem to be giving it a long, hard though and it isn’t surprising.

United lost Romelu Lukaku in attack and did not acquire replacements over the transfer window. An attack short on numbers wouldn’t want to lose another forward they can’t replace.

Inter have offered United a two-year loan deal with a €15m option to buy but United will have to pay Sanchez £36m if he leaves the club permanently. That’s quite a lot of money.

Alexis Sanchez is a reputable player that has made his name in the Premier League already with Arsenal. The phrase “form is temporary, the class is permanent” is one that applies to Alexis Sanchez because of his Copa America performances.

Right now United play a more intense and direct style football that might suit Sanchez as he is a hard worker on the pitch and can create opportunities for himself and his teammates if he gets the chance.

He is only 30 and has time on his side to excel and rediscover his form with this young and fluid side. If he does, he could go from outcast to leader.
