Possible January departure of three Man United players

After their summer purchasing binge, Manchester United has improved under manager Erik ten Hag. They are presently three points behind breaking into the top 4 in the Premier League with a game remaining.

Including the top 4 at the end of the league will ensure an automatic qualification for the champions league, which will significantly increase the fan following of the club. Fans from around will be betting on the club at sports betting platforms. Many online platforms also provide welcome bonus offers to get Sports betting fans started.

John Murtough, United’s director of football, has previously stated that the team won’t be active in the January transfer period. However, the team has to spend in winter to improve its Champions League ambitions.

The hierarchy could wish to recover money from unloading misfits for this to occur. The following three United players must be let go when the market reopens.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Over the summer, Ten Hag was keen to find a new right-back, but the idea fell through when Murtough opted to keep Wan-Bissaka. The 24-year-old managed barely four minutes of competitive football. Therefore the choice was not beneficial.

Diogo Dalot is the lone outfield player to have started all 19 of United’s games this season, and he has been an unquestioned starter at right-back. It could depend once more on Wan-Bissaka’s departure if Ten Hag is looking for a new right-back this winter.

Donny van de Beek

The Dutchman spent the latter half of the previous campaign on loan at Everton, where he was primarily troubled by injuries. Even though he has reconnected with Ten Hag, who is intimately familiar with him from their time together at Ajax, his circumstances have not changed.

Van de Beek recently started against Real Sociedad and Aston Villa, when he was the poorest player on the pitch after lasting only 30 minutes over four games. His lack of assurance was alarming. It could be appropriate for United to think about his future.

Facundo Pellistri

It’s unclear how long Pellistri worked at United. The teenager joined the club with a sterling reputation from Penarol, but he’s yet to play for the team in a match. That may occur in the Carabao Cup, but he appears to be leaving in January.

The 20-year-old is “determined” to quit Old Trafford permanently after becoming dissatisfied with his circumstances there. United has a similar opinion of him. An outstanding World Cup performance for Uruguay should raise his profile and price.

Final Words

If United wants to improve its roster in order to qualify for the Champions League, it will need more funds than they currently have for the transfer window. Letting these players go will improve their position in the transfer market, and they will be able to go after players to improve their bench.
