Diogo Dalot who was born 18 March 1999 is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Premier League giants, Manchester United.
Dalot came through the youth system of Porto academy and made his professional debut for the B team in 2017. After playing only eight games for Porto in 2018, he has made a switch to Man Utd, however, he struggled to cement a place in the starting XI at Old Trafford, the last term he has spent the season on loan at Serie A giants AC Milan and played a vital role for Stephano Pioli’s side to finish the season on top-four qualifying for the 2021/22 Champions League season.
Dalot was a youth international and played for Portugal from under-15 to under-21 side. He was a member of the under-17 team that won the Euro 2016 Under-17 Championship. Dalot made his senior international debut for Portugal at UEFA Euro 2020 in the summer.
Dalot signed for a five-year contract with Man Utd for a reported £19 million transfer fee, He made his debut on 19 September 2018 in the UEFA Champions League match against Young Boys. On 26 January 2020, he has managed to found the back of the net for the Red Devils was in a 6–0 FA Cup victory against Tranmere Rovers.

“He’s playing at a big club, big expectations, great history of the club. It’s been a good year for him. So, of course, I’ve been very pleased with his development this season, he’s our player and I’m looking forward to having him back.”
