The January transfer window is an opportunity for Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to strengthen his squad, a solution to the club’s current problem which might see the club fall in the relegation zone or have the manager lose his job if not quickly attended to.
The Red Devils have found themselves light on options up front this season after they allowed both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to leave the club in the summer.
With Marcus Rashford leading the line for Manchester United in recent games and Anthony Martial recently recovering from injury, the team definitely needs to look into bringing in someone who can strengthen the club’s attacking option.
Former Irish footballer, manager and now football pundit had stated a solution to Manchester United’s attacking after the match against Liverpool on Sunday in his interview on Sky Sport as seen on Metro UK.
“Just go and get Kane from Spurs, easy. Just go and get him. What are you all staring at?
“They’re in disarray, go and get him.”
Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday left them in 13th place in the Premier League table and just two points above the relegation zone.
The Red Devils will return to Premier League action with a trip to Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.
Is there a place for Harry Kane in Man United?
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already admitted that he is keen on bringing in a new forward in the January transfer window. The 1-1 draw against Liverpool last weekend also has sparked a couple of debates on who the new forward should be and Kane cuts across the arguments with a staggeringly simple suggestion.
Will Harry Kane consider moving?
It’s true that Tottenham is going through a tough time at the moment and Harry Kane being a quality player will want to win trophies. This doesn’t change the fact that Tottenham is playing on a big scale that Manchester United is not playing on and might not be playing on next season.
If we are being logical, there is nothing Manchester United can offer Harry Kane currently. They are 13th on the Premier League table with two points away from the relegation zone while Tottenham is 7th on the table. To think Harry Kane will leave a better team for Manchester United is quite reaching but like we’ve always said, anything can happen in the football world.
Harry Kane is a fine player no doubt and he will always be a great addition to any team he’s on. For Manchester United particularly, his input would go a long way but currently, the chances of him joining the club are very slim.
He is one of the players that has a strong connection with the club he plays with and one can assume he’ll rather go abroad if he’s leaving than to go to a rival club. Also, there is no Champions League night in Old Trafford at the moment.
We believe with the second part out of the way, having a discussion of Harry Kane in Manchester United will be easier to have than now. Till then, let’s not get our hopes up high.
